Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment including industrial washers, dryers, and garment care machines to ensure efficient cleaning processes. Handle textiles with care, performing sorting, folding, pressing, and finishing tasks to maintain quality standards. Manage materials handling tasks such as loading push carts, transporting linens between stations, and organizing laundry supplies. Follow safety protocols diligently during all manual handling activities and when working with heavy loads or industrial machinery. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas by adhering to hygiene standards and using appropriate laundry detergents. Assist with dry cleaning processes when required, ensuring garments are treated with proper techniques for delicate fabrics. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests and ensuring timely delivery of clean textiles. Experience Prior experience in laundry services or textile cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and proper use of laundry detergents is advantageous. Basic math skills are helpful for measuring detergents and managing inventory levels. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials manually for extended periods is essential. Strong attention to detail in garment care machine operation and sanitation practices ensures quality results. Excellent communication skills support effective teamwork and customer interactions in a fast-paced setting.
