Comfort Inn PA Turnpike I-81 - Carlisle, PA Comfort Inn PA Turnpike I-81 is looking for a dependable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for keeping the hotel's linen operation running efficiently and ensuring clean linens are available for our housekeeping staff and guests. This position is active and requires someone who is comfortable being on their feet, lifting and carrying linens, and working at a steady pace. Schedule Typically 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Approximately 30-40 hours per week Weekend availability is required Schedule may vary based on hotel occupancy and business needs Responsibilities Operate commercial washers and dryers to clean hotel linens, towels, and other laundry. Fold, sort, and organize clean linens and towels. Inspect linens for stains, damage, and excessive wear. Remove and replace laundry supplies as needed. Maintain a clean and organized laundry area. Assist housekeepers by stripping used linens from guest rooms and bringing them to the laundry area. Sort soiled linens appropriately and prepare them for washing. Assist with distributing clean linens to housekeeping areas and carts. Help maintain adequate linen supplies throughout the hotel. Follow proper procedures for handling, storing, and transporting clean and soiled linens. Communicate linen shortages, damaged items, or equipment issues to management. Assist the housekeeping team with other duties as needed. Qualifications Reliable and dependable attendance is essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull laundry and linen loads. Ability to work in a warm, fast-paced environment. Previous hotel, housekeeping, or laundry experience is preferred but not required . Must be willing to assist with guest room linen removal and other housekeeping support duties.
