Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results. Perform quality checks on cleaned items to identify stains or damages that require special attention or dry cleaning. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces. Follow all safety protocols related to handling chemicals, operating machinery, and waste disposal to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to coordinate laundry schedules and meet guest service standards efficiently. Ensure all laundry processes comply with health and safety regulations as well as hotel policies for sanitation and hygiene. Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, pressing machines, and dry cleaning processes is advantageous.
