Responsibilities Operate laundry machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to clean textiles effectively. Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and the use of push carts for transporting linens and laundry loads. Follow strict sanitation and safety protocols during all laundry processes to ensure a safe working environment. Sort, fold, and organize clean textiles, ensuring garments are cared for according to specific instructions. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including cleaning equipment and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials. Monitor laundry detergents and chemicals usage, adhering to safety standards in production. Assist with special laundry services such as dry cleaning or textile cleaning when required. Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and laundry procedures. Ability to handle materials safely, including manual handling of heavy items and push carts. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and managing inventory. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol guidelines. Excellent customer service skills to support guest satisfaction when interacting with team members or guests. Experience operating garment care machines, industrial dryers, and other laundry equipment. Knowledge of sanitation practices, textile cleaning methods, and dry cleaning processes.
