Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and care. Sort, load, and unload laundry materials using push carts and manual handling techniques to ensure efficiency and safety. Follow strict safety protocols during all laundry processes, including proper handling of laundry detergents and chemicals. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by adhering to sanitation standards, ensuring a safe environment for all team members. Handle textiles carefully to prevent damage, applying appropriate garment care procedures for different fabric types. Assist with materials handling tasks such as moving heavy loads and organizing laundry supplies to optimize workflow. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to laundry requests and ensuring timely delivery of clean textiles. Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning, laundry services, or textile cleaning is preferred but not required. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and proper use of laundry detergents and cleaning agents. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate garment care machines effectively. Basic math skills for measuring chemicals and managing inventory. Strong understanding of sanitation practices and textile care techniques including dry cleaning processes. Excellent manual handling skills with a focus on safety protocol adherence.
