Key Responsibilities:

Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing, towels, linens, and other laundry items. Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure resident clothing and personal belongings are properly labeled, handled, and returned. Follow established infection control procedures, including proper handling and separation of soiled and clean laundry. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry room and work area. Monitor laundry supplies and notify supervisors when additional inventory is needed. Report damaged equipment, safety concerns, or maintenance needs promptly. Handle resident belongings with care, respect, and attention to detail. Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and established cleaning standards. Assist with additional housekeeping or environmental services duties as needed. What We're Looking For Previous laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required. Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is a plus. Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent work schedule. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and established infection control procedures. Willingness to learn and maintain a positive, team-focused attitude. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
