Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and care. Handle textiles and laundry materials safely, adhering strictly to sanitation and safety standards in production. Sort, load, and unload laundry loads using push carts or other materials handling tools while managing heavy lifting safely. Apply appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents to ensure effective textile cleaning without damage. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including sanitation of machines and surrounding spaces, following safety protocol adherence. Perform basic math calculations for measuring detergents, chemicals, or adjusting machine settings as needed. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely delivery of clean linens or garments and addressing any special laundry requests. Experience Prior experience in laundry services or textile cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with garment care machine operation, industrial dryers, and dry cleaning processes is advantageous. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and pushing carts regularly. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and ensure compliance. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely for proper laundry procedures. Basic math skills for measuring chemicals or adjusting machine settings accurately.
