Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to ensure proper cleaning of textiles. Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, folding, and organizing linens, uniforms, and other textiles. Use push carts and other tools to transport heavy loads safely within the facility while practicing proper manual handling techniques. Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning work areas regularly and using appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during heavy lifting, machine operation, or handling chemicals. Assist with textile cleaning processes by performing stain removal, garment inspection, and ensuring proper garment care procedures are followed. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to laundry requests and ensuring timely delivery of cleaned items. Experience Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all new team members. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy loads up to a specified weight limit. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating load sizes, and managing inventory. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments related to sanitation, chemical handling, and equipment operation. Familiarity with garment care machines such as industrial washers and dryers is advantageous. Strong attention to detail to ensure textiles are cleaned thoroughly without damage or loss. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to deliver outstanding customer service in a team-oriented environment.
