Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process linens and textiles efficiently. Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, loading push carts, and managing heavy lifting tasks safely. Follow strict sanitation and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment for both staff and guests. Use laundry detergents and cleaning agents responsibly while adhering to safety standards in production. Manage materials handling by organizing clean linens and textiles for distribution throughout the hotel. Perform routine inspections of laundry equipment to maintain optimal operation and prevent malfunctions. Assist with customer service by responding promptly to requests for special laundry services or garment care needs. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel or industrial laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and pushing carts. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating load capacities. Knowledge of sanitation standards, textile cleaning processes, including dry cleaning when applicable. Familiarity with garment care machine operation such as washers, dryers, and textile cleaning equipment. Strong attention to safety protocol adherence to prevent accidents or injuries during operations. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest satisfaction.
