Laundry Assistant Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our team at Rivers Edge Nursing & Rehab in Muscoda, Wisconsin. Responsibilities:

Sort, wash, dry, and iron laundry items according to facility standards and regulations Fold and bag clean laundry for distribution to residents and staff Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas, including the washer and dryer, folding tables, and storage areas Operate laundry equipment, including washers and dryers, and perform routine maintenance tasks Ensure all laundry items are properly cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized Follow facility policies and guidelines for handling and processing laundry Participate in quality control measures to ensure accuracy and timeliness of laundry services Maintain a positive and respectful attitude, relating to residents, families, and colleagues

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred Ability to lift, carry, and move laundry equipment and supplies Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude in a diverse and dynamic environment About the
