Experience with waxing is a plus, but it is not required. We are absolutely open to someone who specializes in lashes only. This is a great fit for someone who wants a flexible, appointment-based schedule and the opportunity to grow their clientele within an established studio environment. Pay & Schedule $22-$27/hour to start, depending on experience 100% of tips Performance bonus opportunities based on monthly goals Approximately 1-2 days per week to start Appointment-based scheduling Opportunity for additional hours as demand grows Responsibilities Perform lash services such as classic, hybrid, volume, fills, removals, and/or lash lifts depending on experience Perform waxing services if experienced and licensed to do so Provide professional consultations and recommend appropriate services Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary treatment space Follow all California State Board sanitation and safety requirements Complete proper setup and cleanup between appointments Maintain accurate client notes and service records Provide excellent customer service and help create a welcoming experience Assist with rebooking and client retention Recommend retail products or additional services when appropriate Qualifications Current California Esthetician or Cosmetology license Lash certification/training and hands-on lash experience Strong attention to detail Reliable and professional Friendly and comfortable working with clients Able to work independently Comfortable maintaining sanitation and infection-control standards Portfolio or Instagram showing previous lash work preferred Preferred, but not required Experience with waxing Lash lift and tint experience Brow services Existing clientele Experience working in a salon, spa, or beauty studio Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is confident in their work, dependable, personable, and interested in growing with the studio. We would love to find someone who wants to build a consistent schedule and become a long-term part of Modern Beauty OC. Estimated EarningsBase pay is $22-$27/hour plus 100% of tips and potential performance bonuses. Total earnings will vary based on bookings, gratuities, experience, and hours worked.
