We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Pool & Spa Service Technician to join our growing team. No prior pool or spa experience is required! If you're someone who enjoys working outdoors, likes working with your hands, is willing to learn, and takes pride in doing quality work, we'll teach you everything you need to know. As a Pool & Spa Service Technician, you'll receive hands-on training and ongoing support while learning how to properly maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial pools and spas. You'll develop real mechanical and technical skills that can turn into a long-term career in a skilled trade. Your day-to-day work will include maintaining clean and safe pools, testing and balancing water chemistry, inspecting equipment, troubleshooting issues, and providing excellent customer service. As you develop your skills, you'll also have the opportunity to perform pool and spa repairs and filter cleanings , giving you the potential to earn additional income based on services completed. What You'll Do Perform routine pool and spa cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and chemical balancing to maintain clean, safe, and properly balanced water. Test and adjust pool and spa water chemistry according to company standards. Inspect pool and spa equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and related components, to identify potential issues. Learn to troubleshoot equipment and diagnose common pool and spa problems. Perform basic repairs using hand tools and power tools as training and experience allow. Assist with pool and spa repairs, equipment replacements, and upgrades. Clean and maintain filters and other pool equipment. Assist with installing new pool components and equipment as needed. Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, maintenance, and customer needs. Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices. Provide professional, friendly customer service and clearly explain services performed to clients. Keep equipment, tools, and service areas clean and organized. Work independently in the field while staying connected with and receiving support from experienced technicians. What You'll Learn No experience? No problem. We'll train you. Through hands-on training and real-world experience, you'll learn: Proper pool and spa cleaning and maintenance techniques. Pool and spa water testing and chemical balancing. Mechanical fundamentals of pool and spa equipment. How pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and other equipment operate. How to troubleshoot common pool and spa equipment issues. How to perform basic repairs and maintenance on pool and spa equipment. How to safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools. Proper filter cleaning and equipment maintenance procedures. How to identify equipment issues before they become larger problems. Company and industry safety standards. How to communicate professionally with customers and explain completed work. How to manage service visits and work efficiently in the field. Strong problem-solving, mechanical, and attention-to-detail skills.
