Responsibilities Perform professional makeup applications for various occasions including bridal, special events, and photo shoots. Create intricate hairstyles and hair styling designs suited for weddings, parties, and other celebrations. Apply eyelash extensions and prosthetic makeup effects to enhance clients' features or achieve specific character looks. Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable makeup and hair styles. Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in all beauty treatments, adhering to industry regulations. Assist clients with retail sales of beauty products and upsell services to enhance their overall experience. Capture high-quality photographs of completed looks for portfolio purposes and client records. Requirements Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio showcasing makeup artistry and hair styling skills. Expertise in bridal makeup application techniques and special event hair styling. Knowledge of color theory, color coordination, and current beauty trends to deliver innovative looks. Skilled in eyelash extensions, character makeup, prosthetic effects, body waxing, dermabrasion, and hair threading. Excellent client communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor focused on delivering outstanding customer service. Strong time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple appointments while maintaining quality standards. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating attention to detail and sanitation protocols. Certification in cosmetology or related beauty qualifications is preferred but not mandatory; ongoing training is supported.
