As a Makeup Artist/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, providing professional beauty services while ensuring a welcoming and organized environment. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and passion for the beauty industry will help clients feel confident and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors. Duties Perform a variety of makeup applications, including bridal makeup, character makeup, and special event looks, utilizing advanced techniques and color theory knowledge. Style hair for special occasions, including updos, blowouts, and hair extensions, ensuring each client's vision is realized with precision. Provide additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, dermabrasion, and prosthetic makeup effects to enhance client satisfaction. Deliver outstanding customer service by consulting with clients about their desired looks, offering professional recommendations, and communicating clearly throughout the appointment process. Manage front desk responsibilities by scheduling appointments, greeting clients warmly, handling retail sales and upselling products to enhance their experience. Maintain sanitation standards rigorously by cleaning tools and workstations after each service in compliance with health regulations. Assist in retail product displays and promote sales through effective communication of product benefits and color coordination advice. Qualifications Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio showcasing makeup application techniques such as bridal makeup and character effects. Skilled in special event hair styling, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and other cosmetology services. Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards essential for maintaining a clean working environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members while providing personalized recommendations. Strong time management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently without compromising quality. Familiarity with color theory, color coordination for makeup looks, photography skills for capturing client results, and upselling techniques to boost retail sales. Certification or licensing in cosmetology or related fields preferred but not required; a passion for continuous learning is highly valued. Pay:

$15.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 40.0 per week
