Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylic applications, and nail extensions with attention to detail and safety standards. Apply advanced techniques such as nail art using color theory principles to create customized designs that delight clients. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, equipment, and workstations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience. Upsell retail products such as nail care items, skincare products, or accessories to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Keep the work area clean and organized while following all health regulations related to sanitation and disinfection procedures. Requirements Valid cosmetology license or certification as a Licensed Nail Technician in accordance with state or local regulations. Proven experience working in the beauty industry with skills in manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, acrylic nails, and nail extensions.
