Nail Technician Job Description Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nail care and aesthetics, providing exceptional services to our clients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and outstanding customer service skills. Duties Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and nail art. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations. Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate nail care treatments. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail design and techniques to provide innovative services. Educate clients on proper nail care and maintenance for long-lasting results. Upsell additional services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, and other beauty treatments. Manage retail sales effectively, utilizing retail math to track inventory and sales performance. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and positive environment for clients. Skills Proficient in color theory to create aesthetically pleasing designs. Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a safe working environment. Background in cosmetology with expertise in nail care techniques. Familiarity with additional beauty services such as hair styling, hair threading, esthetic laser treatment, dermabrasion, and barbering is a plus. Effective communication skills to interact with clients and understand their needs. Ability to upsell services while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
