Job Overview:

We are an independent bread distribution business looking for a dependable and motivated employee to service stores on non-delivery days and assist on larger delivery days. On non-delivery days, you will visit assigned stores to stock, rotate, and organize products. On larger delivery days, you will work alongside the route owner to unload products, stock stores, organize backstock, and help complete the route efficiently. Most work takes place at stores near Albemarle. Occasional help may be needed at our warehouse in Salisbury, but this will not be a frequent requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Service assigned stores on non-delivery days
• Stock and organize bread and bakery products
• Rotate products by date to maintain freshness
• Remove damaged or outdated products as instructed
• Keep shelves, displays, and backstock areas organized
• Communicate inventory shortages and store issues
• Submit photos or updates after completing stores
• Assist with unloading and stocking on larger delivery days
• Help organize products and complete deliveries efficiently
• Occasionally assist with loading or organizing products at the Salisbury warehouse
• Follow store policies, food-safety expectations, and company procedures Qualifications
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation between assigned stores
• Willing to occasionally travel to the Salisbury warehouse
• Comfortable communicating by phone and text
• Stocking, merchandising, grocery, warehouse, or delivery experience is helpful but not required Schedule and Compensation Hours and workdays will vary based on store needs and delivery volume.
