An established medical aesthetics practice in Albany is seeking an experienced, results-driven General Manager to lead the clinic through its next phase of growth and development. 00 per hour Performance-based bonus opportunities Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) Employee discounts on treatments and skincare Professional development and career-growth opportunities Support from an experienced leadership team What You'll Own Sales and Business Performance You will take ownership of the practice's overall performance by: Driving monthly revenue, membership, treatment-package, and retail goals Monitoring KPIs and translating performance data into focused action plans Identifying performance gaps early and adjusting strategy throughout the month Improving consultation conversion, rebooking, client retention, and provider utilization Maintaining consistent follow-up processes for leads, consultations, and client opportunities Building local relationships and identifying opportunities to generate new business Creating a culture in which goals, accountability, and results are understood across the team Providing clear and proactive performance updates to practice leadership Team Leadership and Development You will lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of providers, coordinators, and support professionals by: Establishing clear expectations and following through consistently Creating an engaged, collaborative, and high-performing work environment Conducting regular coaching and performance conversations Helping team members become more confident in consultations, client education, and treatment recommendations Addressing performance concerns promptly, professionally, and constructively Recognizing strong performance and celebrating individual and team success Leading by example with professionalism, integrity, urgency, and accountability Sales Coaching and Client Experience You will help the team grow the business through consultative, client-centered selling by: Coaching team members to uncover each client's needs and aesthetic goals Improving the quality and consistency of consultations Developing the team's confidence in recommending memberships, treatment plans, packages, and skincare Reviewing conversion and follow-up activity and providing actionable feedback Ensuring recommendations are personalized, appropriate, and grounded in education and trust Maintaining an elevated experience throughout the entire client journey Building long-term client relationships that support retention, loyalty, and referrals Our approach is straightforward: educate thoroughly, recommend confidently, follow up consistently, and deliver an experience that earns long-term loyalty. Operational Excellence You will oversee and improve the practice's daily operations, including: Staffing, scheduling, timecard oversight, and payroll support Provider productivity and schedule utilization Inventory management and product availability Opening, closing, and daily operating procedures Compliance with clinical, operational, and workplace standards Maintaining an organized, professional, and welcoming environment Anticipating operational needs and resolving issues before they affect the team or client experience Communicating business needs and potential risks clearly and proactively What Success Looks Like During your first several months, you will be expected to: Assess the practice's sales, staffing, scheduling, retention, and operational opportunities Establish clear expectations, routines, and accountability across the team Build on the practice's positive momentum with focused, measurable action plans Improve consultation conversion, membership enrollment, rebooking, retail sales, and provider utilization Strengthen follow-up processes for leads, consultations, and existing clients Develop team members through consistent coaching, feedback, and performance conversations Maintain accurate schedules, timecards, inventory controls, and operational reporting Create an energized environment in which the team understands its goals and takes ownership of results Demonstrate measurable progress in both business performance and the client experience The successful leader will not wait until the end of the month to react. They will understand where the business stands, identify risks and opportunities early, and adjust the team's plan accordingly. Required Qualifications Three or more years of leadership experience in medical aesthetics, plastic surgery, dermatology, cosmetic dentistry, luxury wellness, or another consultative healthcare or service environment Demonstrated success leading a team and achieving revenue or sales goals Experience coaching employees to improve sales, consultation, service, or operational performance Strong understanding of KPIs and the ability to turn performance data into action Experience managing staffing, scheduling, timecards, payroll support, inventory, and daily operations Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Confidence holding others accountable while maintaining a professional and supportive culture Experience using EMR, CRM, scheduling, point-of-sale, or practice-management software Preferred Experience Candidates will stand out if they have experience with: Medical spa or aesthetic-practice leadership Injectables and aesthetic treatment services Laser and energy-based treatments Membership-based business models Treatment-package and skincare sales Provider utilization and schedule optimization Consultation conversion and lead follow-up Luxury hospitality or client experience Local marketing, networking, or community outreach The Leader We're Looking For You do more than manage tasks—you create clarity, develop people, and produce results.
