Job Description
Maria's Tailor Shop is hiring an experienced bridal alterations professional with proven skills working on wedding gowns. The ideal candidate can confidently complete fittings and detailed alterations while maintaining excellent craftsmanship. Responsibilities Conduct bridal fittings and accurately pin and mark gowns. Perform hems, bustles, bodice resizing, strap and sleeve adjustments, and other complex alterations. Work carefully with lace, tulle, satin, chiffon, beading, appliqués, boning, and other delicate materials. Complete hand sewing, machine sewing, pressing, finishing, and final quality checks by established deadlines. Qualifications 2-5years of professional wedding-gown alteration experience required. Experience independently fitting and altering bridal gowns. Strong hand-sewing and machine-sewing skills. Excellent attention to detail, garment construction, fit, and finishing. Dependable and able to complete high-quality work within scheduled deadlines.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per weekBenefits:
