Duties Operate pressing machines and garment care equipment to expertly press shirts, suits, dresses, and other apparel items. Perform dry cleaning processes on garments requiring special cleaning methods, ensuring proper handling and treatment. Finish garments with precision, including steaming, folding, and inspecting for quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning equipment and work areas using appropriate cleaning detergents. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of garments and processing cash transactions at the point of sale. Ensure proper garment care by following fabric care instructions and using appropriate garment finishing techniques. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients regarding their garments and processing requests efficiently. Skills Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with high standards of service and garment care. Strong knowledge of garment finishing, pressing techniques, dry cleaning procedures, and laundry services. Proficiency in operating pressing machines, garment care machines, and cash handling equipment. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting of garments or equipment. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing inventory counts. Knowledge of fabric care principles to ensure garments are treated appropriately without damage.
