The ideal candidate will bring artistic skill, professionalism, and a passion for body art to our studio. This role involves designing and applying tattoos and other body art in a safe, hygienic environment, ensuring client satisfaction and adhering to industry standards. A valid tattoo license is required to perform this role. The position is a paid opportunity, offering a chance to showcase your artistic talents while working in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities Create custom tattoo designs based on client requests and artistic consultation Prepare clients by explaining procedures, aftercare instructions, and ensuring comfort throughout the process Perform tattooing and body art procedures with precision, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety Maintain a clean and sterile work environment in accordance with health regulations Manage appointment schedules and communicate effectively with clients regarding their sessions Keep up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and safety protocols Ensure all work complies with licensing requirements and health standards Provide excellent customer service to foster repeat business and positive studio reputation Experience Valid CT tattoo license is required to perform this role Proven experience as a tattoo or body artist preferred; portfolio showcasing previous work is highly desirable Strong artistic ability with proficiency in various styles of tattooing Knowledge of sterilization procedures, health regulations, and safety practices in body art applications Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Expected hours: 25.0 - 35.0 per week
