We're seeking a talented piercer with 3+ years of professional piercing experience who takes pride in their craft, prioritizes client safety and satisfaction, and wants to grow with our studio. The Position This is a full-time, commission-based position for a professional piercer who is confident working independently and with a team while contributing to a positive, professional studio environment. Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable, dependable, personable, and committed to providing every client with a safe, comfortable, and memorable piercing experience. Responsibilities Perform professional body piercings with precision and attention to detail. Conduct thorough consultations, including anatomy assessments, placement recommendations, jewelry selection, and aftercare education. Maintain the highest standards of sanitation, sterilization, and infection control. Properly prepare and maintain piercing stations and equipment. Provide knowledgeable guidance regarding jewelry, healing, downsizing, and long-term piercing care. Maintain accurate client records and consent documentation. Provide exceptional customer service from consultation through aftercare and follow-up. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace. Stay current with industry standards, techniques, jewelry materials, and best practices. Work professionally and respectfully with clients, coworkers, and studio management. Requirements Minimum 3 years of professional body piercing experience. Strong understanding of anatomy, safe piercing practices, sterilization, and infection control. Knowledge of quality, body-safe jewelry and reputable jewelry manufacturers. Experience with autoclave and sterilization procedures. Professional piercing portfolio. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. Ability to work independently while being a positive team member. Professional demeanor and appearance. Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Must comply with all applicable Georgia and local health and safety regulations. Compensation Commission-based pay. Compensation will be discussed during the interview and will be based on experience, skill level, and the studio's commission structure.
