Responsibilities:
The Role We are seeking an experienced sewist to work on an hourly on-call/independent vendor basis. Must be available with relatively short notice (usually 1-3 days), though more advanced notice will be provided when available, to work within our headquarters in Lenexa, KS.
Qualifications:
The following sewing skills are required : Key tasks will be to assist with bridal gown alteration and repairs. Attention to detail, a sharp eye, and high-quality standards are a must. Quick turn-around is often required. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. The following sewing skills are required: Replacing hanger and train loops Sewing on and replacing buttons General tacking-must know how to tack seamlessly and not have visible stitches Replacing/changing boning Adjusting bust cups Sew lace motifs and lace placement adjustment Remove stains, dirt, or water marks If you are interested in this contract position, please email your resume to Whitney Neary at .
