Upholster Job Summary:

Shifts Available:

1st shift M-F 7am-4pm Upholster furniture frames using fabric, vinyl, leather, foam, and other materials. Measure, cut, sew, and attach upholstery materials to furniture components. Install foam, springs, padding, webbing, and cushions as required. Read and interpret work orders, specifications, and production schedules. Operate upholstery equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently. Inspect finished products to ensure quality and workmanship standards are met. Repair or rework upholstery defects when necessary. Maintain clean and organized workstations. Work closely with production team members to meet daily output goals. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous upholstery experience in furniture manufacturing required 2 years Experience working with fabric, leather, vinyl, foam, and upholstery adhesives. Ability to operate staple guns, sewing machines, cutting tools, and other upholstery equipment. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to read tape measures and follow production instructions. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Why Peoplelink Staffing?
