What You'll Be Doing This is a hands-on technical position with opportunities to utilize and expand your skills. Depending on your experience, training, and applicable credentialing requirements, responsibilities may include: Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Surgical preparation and assisting IV catheter placement and medication administration Dental cleanings, dental radiographs, and assisting with advanced dental procedures Nursing care and monitoring of hospitalized patients Digital radiography and diagnostic imaging Laboratory sample collection and processing Assisting veterinarians with examinations and medical procedures Client education and discharge instructions Maintaining accurate medical records Supporting efficient treatment and surgical workflows Our hospital also offers specialized services, including integrative veterinary medicine and feline radioiodine (I-131) therapy, providing opportunities to learn about different areas of veterinary medicine. Our ideal candidate will have:

At least 2 years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience Strong hands-on technical skills, including experience with anesthesia and patient monitoring The ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks in a busy veterinary hospital Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependability, initiative, and a willingness to help wherever needed Compassion for patients and the people who love them A positive attitude and a desire to continue learning Additional experience we'd love to see: Current LVT credential Strong anesthesia and surgical skills Dentistry and dental radiography experience Experience caring for hospitalized or higher-acuity patients LVT credentials are welcomed, but not required. We value both formal education and demonstrated hands-on experience, and encourage qualified candidates from either background to apply. Compensation & Benefits $20.00-$27.00+ per hour , depending on experience, technical skills, and credentials.
