Duties Assist veterinarians with clinical procedures including animal restraint, catheterization, and laboratory testing to ensure smooth operations and accurate diagnostics Perform animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, grooming, pet care, and maintaining cleanliness in kennels and treatment areas Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques, dog training skills, and animal handling experience to minimize stress and ensure safety for both animals and staff Operate laboratory equipment for diagnostic testing, including blood work or other samples, utilizing your laboratory experience Assist with pet care education for clients, and basic animal physiology knowledge to support overall wellness programs Requirements Experience in veterinary critical care settings or veterinary technician roles is highly desirable (at least 1 yr) Familiarity with veterinary terminology, X-ray operation, laboratory procedures, and aseptic techniques Ability to handle dogs and cats confidently.
