ASSISTANT / VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Are you someone who loves animals, works hard, and wants to build a career working with them? We're looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our veterinary team! Full-time and part-time positions available Flexible scheduling Experience is NOT required — we are willing to train the right person! You do not have to have previous veterinary clinic experience. If you have a passion for animals, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn, we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Do Duties may include, but are not limited to: Handling and restraining animals while doctors perform examinations Assisting doctors with vaccinations and other procedures Monitoring patients and anesthesia during surgery Catheter placement and blood draws Sterilizing and wrapping surgical instruments Operating X-ray and dental X-ray equipment Answering phones and scheduling appointments Working with veterinary computer programs including Avimark, Excel, Word, FlavorX, Dragonfly, and PACS Filling prescriptions Maintaining a clean and organized work environment Processing payments and assisting clients at checkout
