Overview Embrace Vet Care is a small animal general practice looking for a new team member to round us out as we continue to grow! We are a locally owned private practice and will stay that way so our members always have a voice! We are looking for a versatile person who can navigate days floating between both the veterinary assistant and client relation positions as the clinic grows. Our goals are building a team who works together to build a unique culture within veterinary medicine that values the work they do, the patients we all love and a true work life balance. I am seeking a full time employee who is comfortable learning all general aspects of veterinary medicine as we are a small team that all support one another in our roles. We are looking for both experienced or entry level positions who will assist in reception duties, assisting vets and teammates with the goal of moving up into surgery and running rooms when experience allows. Prior experience in taking history, collecting and prepping samples, holding for exam, answering phone calls, vaccine/medical/surgical based knowledge is a plus! Duties may at times include everything from general cleaning to answering phones, scheduling appointments and prepping rooms, patients or medications. We have a great love of education and hope to provide opportunities for individual growth. Pay is commensurate and will range from $13-18 an hour. 401K, health care, paid time off, employee discount all provided. Position start date is negotiable but looking to start in October 2026-December 2026. Negative background and drug testing required prior to hire. Experience
Preferred experience in Veterinary Medicine. High school diploma or better required.
Preferred experience in sample collection, history intake, restraining, general pharmacy knowledge, IV catheter placement. Must be able to type, answer phones, spell and communicate effectively.
Must be able to lift and restrain large dogs. Must be able to function in a high stress and high emotional situations.

Compensation:
Negotiable based on experience and licensure: Pay range starts at $13/hr.
Hours:
Full Time available which equats to roughly 35-40 hours per week. There will be minimum if any overtime as we practice what we preach and highly value work-life balance and personal/family time. Mon-Fri 7:30
