We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our growing team. Job Duties:

Relied upon to directly assist Veterinarian Technicians with all their tasks Restrain animals for blood draws and catheter placement Provide daily care and support for animals in the kennel facility Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas Feed and water animals according to their specific dietary needs Exercise and socialize animals to promote their physical and mental well-being Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatment

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with animals in a professional setting is preferred Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and safe handling practices Familiarity with basic pet grooming procedures is a plus Understanding of veterinary terminology and procedures is beneficial Ability to lift heavy objects, such as bags of food or large dogs, as needed Excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners and answer inquiries Strong attention to detail to ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kennel facility
