The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for animal care and welfare, along with the technical skills necessary to assist veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care to a variety of patients. This role requires both clinical and administrative responsibilities, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures. Perform diagnostic tests, including X-rays and laboratory work. Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian. Monitor animal patients' vital signs and overall health during treatments. Provide proper animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure safety for both staff and animals. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. Support kennel operations by caring for hospitalized animals. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the veterinary facility. Skills Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures. Proficient in animal anatomy and physiology to assist in diagnosing health issues. Experience with animal catheterization techniques is preferred. Familiarity with laboratory procedures for conducting tests on samples. Competence in operating X-ray equipment safely and effectively. Excellent animal handling skills to ensure comfort and safety during examinations or treatments. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to teach and train support staff. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with pet owners and team members.   • Advanced knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures.
  • Proficiency in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology.
  • Strong understanding of anesthesia, monitoring, and surgical assistance.
  • Experience with catheter placement, blood draws, restraint.
  • Ability to operate X-ray, monitors, and lab equipment.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

We are open 7 days a week.
Sat/Sun:
8am
  • 4pm
Mon-Fri:
8am-7pm
