Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism as they arrive at the clinic. Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for veterinary services. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, medications, and pet care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date. Process payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently. Assist veterinary staff with patient intake and preparation for examinations. Provide basic information about animal care, medication administration, and veterinary procedures to clients. Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and welcoming for clients. Skills Proficiency in front desk operations within a veterinary or similar environment. Knowledge of animal anatomy and veterinary terminology to effectively communicate with clients and staff. Experience in dog handling, ensuring safety for both pets and staff during interactions. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and animal restraint techniques. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing client records and appointments. Passion for pet care, animal husbandry, and overall animal welfare.
