Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vet Tech Assistant that MUST have veterinary hospital experience, be availabe at least

EVERY OTHER SATURDAY

for Receptionist duties, and be able to multi-task in a busy environment. Ideal candidate will be team-oriented, self-motivated staff member, and have a positive attitude. Answering phones, scheduling appointments, putting patients in rooms, general reception duties Running varisous lab tests (cytology's, urinalysis, fecal, heartworm) In-house and reference laboratory blood analysis General cleaning, laundry, vacuuming/mopping Cleaning rooms, refilling supplies in rooms Assisting technicians restrain pets Stocking/refilling supplies in pharmacy/treatment areas Assisting clients Candidates are expected to be client-education oriented and ready to satisfy the needs of clients, and they are an integral part in relaying important patient care information between the pet-owners and the Veterinarian. Wages for this position will commensurate with experience.
