This position plays an important part in creating a positive experience for our clients while assisting the doctor and veterinary team with day-to-day patient care. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, dependable, and able to stay calm and productive in a busy clinical environment. You should be comfortable communicating with clients, handling multiple priorities, and asking questions when you need clarification or assistance. Required Skills & Attributes Experience using practice management software for scheduling, client communication, and medical records. Experience with DaySmart is a plus; training will be provided. Previous experience handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, answering client questions, assisting with records, and addressing billing or account questions. Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology. Comfortable preparing and presenting estimates, processing invoices, and collecting payments. Ability to explain registration forms, consent forms, estimates, and other client documents clearly. Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills. Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency.

Preferred:
2+ years of experience in customer service, veterinary medicine, animal handling, or a related field.

Required Availability:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Key Responsibilities Client Service & Reception Check clients and patients in and out. Confirming patient appointments. Manage email communication with clients. Schedule wellness visits, sick visits, surgeries, rechecks, and other appointments. Answer phones and respond to client questions in a professional and helpful manner. Assist clients with medical records, referrals, prescription requests, and general questions. Explain estimates, payment options, consent forms, and other documents to clients. Process invoices and collect payments accurately. Provide compassionate and professional customer service throughout the client experience. Veterinary & Patient Care Assist the veterinarian and veterinary technician with patient handling and basic animal care. Safely restrain dogs and cats for examinations and procedures as directed by the veterinary team. Assist with administering medications under the direction of the veterinarian or veterinary technician. Help prepare patients, rooms, and supplies for appointments and procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with cleaning and disinfecting treatment and exam areas and maintaining appropriate clinic standards. Support the veterinary team with other clinical and administrative tasks as needed.
