is a family owned & operated veterinary hospital in Parrish, FL. Our practice opened in August 2022, focusing on companion animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. We operate in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in order to maintain high-quality care for our patients. We are a \"Low Stress Handling\" hospital, with an emphasis on creating a positive experience for clients and their pets at every visit. Our husband-and-wife DVM team are committed to an amazing clinic culture and low-drama work environment. Our hospital strives for a small-town feel while maintaining top-notch patient care and client communication. The hospital is equipped with many tools to help with our day-to-day workflow including: Cloud-based software allowing anywhere-access to schedule and medical records. AI software for medical record input and client communications. Electric lift tables for exam rooms, treatment tables, x-ray, dentistry, and surgery rooms. IDEXX in-hospital diagnostic equipment to perform CBC, Chemistry, and Urinalysis. Trinocular microscope projected to a 4K display screen for easy identification of organisms and cells on cytology samples. Digital radiography, dental radiography, and ultrasound. Oxygen and scavenging system throughout treatment and surgery areas. After-hours cleaning service, minimizing closing duties and facility maintenance by team members. We believe in strong mentorship and continued education for our technical staff. This means on-the-job training, veterinary society meetings, lunch/dinner lectures, and veterinary conferences. Available Position Full and Part Time positions available for veterinary technicians and assistants. We are looking for dedicated and compassionate professionals who will enjoy building relationships with pet owners in our community.

Enjoy a 4-day work week with NO Weekends! We are open Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm. No boarding or grooming. Our work schedules are flexible as we believe in work-life balance for all team members. Veterinary Assistant & Technician Duties & Requirements Duties include patient check-in, pet restraint, filling prescriptions, patient record keeping, vaccinations, x-ray positioning, drawing blood, performing laboratory tests, patient monitoring, client education, administering medications/treatments, and general hospital upkeep. In addition the above duties, experienced individuals on the medical team are responsible for IV placement, surgical assistance, anesthesia monitoring, and dental prophylaxis. There are also some administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling, ordering supplies, controlled substance reporting, staff training, and maintaining high standards of practice. We utilize an easy-to-use veterinary software called Vetspire. Basic computer and typing skills are required.
