We are a 12 year old established, private veterinary hospital looking for an EXPERIENCED and self-motivated team player to join our work family. Our focus is on quality medicine, client education and we're looking for someone to share that knowledge with our clients. Veterinary Technician Assistant candidates must be proficient in technical skills such as monitoring general anesthesia, assisting in surgery and exam rooms, dentistry, IV catheter placement, administering medications, filling prescriptions, digital radiology, drawing blood, lab work and nursing care. To be considered, applicants should :

• Have great customer service skills.
• Have experience working in an animal hospital
• Be comfortable working with computers. ( Avimark knowledge a plus )
• Be available to work Saturdays.
• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Physical strength; must hold/restrain animals
