Duties Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment for animals Feed, water, and monitor pets throughout their stay, following specific dietary and health instructions Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills Assist with pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and toenail trimming to keep pets comfortable and looking their best Provide services including walking dogs, administering medications, and observing behavior for signs of illness or distress Lift heavy supplies or equipment safely using team lifting techniques to maintain a safe workspace Working holidays and all weekends with two days off during the week. Skills Prior veterinary experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly valued Bathing and kennel experience demonstrating gentle handling and attention to detail Kennel experience with familiarity in cleaning protocols, animal restraint, and safety procedures Strong animal handling skills Customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their needs confidently Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina during busy shifts Join us in creating a caring environment where animals thrive!
