The Ringgold Animal Hospital has an immediate opening for a

FULLTIME

veterinary technician assistant. Our assistants keep the clinic clean and tidy and well stocked and aid our technicians and doctors in restraint, sample collection, and processing laboratory specimens. While experience is preferred, this is an entry level position and on-the-job training will be provided as needed. The schedule is MTTF 12:00-5:30 and every other Sat 8:30-1:30. We are closed Wednesdays and national holidays. The successful applicant is outgoing, well spoken, loves animals, has a professional appearance and a good sense of humor and is able to lift 40lbs. We are a progressive small (2 doctor) AAHA certified small animal practice. We offer medical and surgical services only, i.e., no grooming or boarding. Starting pay is 15.00/hr. Full-time employees receive paid holidays after 1 month and may elect to participate in a personal health insurance plan (of which the clinic pays 85% of the premium) upon completion of a three-month probationary period. Paid time off begins after one year of full-time employment. Interested parties are encouraged to email a resume with complete work experience.
