In this energetic role, you will support veterinarians and veterinary technicians by assisting with animal handling, clinical procedures, and clinic operations. Your enthusiasm for animal welfare, combined with your hands-on skills, will help ensure our patients receive compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist with animal restraint, handling, and behavior management to ensure safety during examinations and procedures Support veterinary technicians with tasks such as IV insertion, medication administration, animal catheterization, and aseptic techniques Maintain cleanliness of the clinic by performing thorough cleaning and sanitation of kennels, treatment areas, surgical suites, and equipment Help with record keeping including updating patient charts, treatment logs, and medication records accurately Prepare animals for surgery or diagnostic procedures by assisting with anesthesia monitoring and animal husbandry practices Provide pet care support including feeding, bathing, grooming, and monitoring animal welfare throughout their stay Communicate effectively with clients about pet care instructions, post-operative care, and general questions to enhance client satisfaction Experience Prior experience or hands-on animal handling skills preferred Familiarity with veterinary terminology, record keeping systems, and clinic protocols is a plus Experience working with dogs and cats patients is beneficial Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, behavior, and welfare standards required Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about animal health who thrive in a collaborative environment. Pay:
