Responsibilities Provide clinical support to veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures, including anesthesia administration, IV access, and monitoring vital signs. Assist with patient handling, restraint, imaging (X-ray), dental care, and basic laboratory tasks; maintain accurate patient records and terminology. Prepare treatment areas, sterilize instruments, and manage supplies; ensure kennels and exam rooms are clean and organized. Communicate clearly with team and pet owners about procedures, aftercare, and medication administration. Support veterinary technicians with routine care, animal husbandry, and safety protocols.
