Job Description

Overview We're looking for our next team member, & want to be very clear: Our facility is old, loud & crowded. We don't sell products on a shelf - we DO care for living animals 7 days/ week. We don't sit & hold puppies all day ...(But you will have to vaccinate & deworm them!) There is structure to our daily chaos: intake protocols, maintenance of an organizational database, scheduling & attending veterinary visits, managing spay/neuter appointments & administering medication & supplements properly. We have to get our animals OUT, not just in! The shelter is a temporary refuge for the strays, abandoned, displaced & injured ... but we aren't "forever". Networking to rescue partners & adopters is the only way we can continue. "I've had pets my whole life" does not qualify you for this role. We're seeking an individual who can offer our animals the standard of care they each deserve. Pay will be based on exactly this! Resilience is everything in animal welfare.
