Job Summary We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician (Full-Time or Part-Time) to join our small animal veterinary hospital. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care and genuine compassion to every individual we serve. Our fun team creates a safe and supportive work environment. Experience preferred but not required. We are in the process of expanding our hours to Monday through Friday 8am-6pm. No Weekends! This is a cross-trained position in which each candidate would need to be comfortable working in multiple areas of the hospital, including some client service representative work such as answering the phone.

Exam Room Duties:

Obtaining patient histories Recording medical information in ScribbleVet Assisting the veterinarian during examinations Preparing estimates and treatment plans using Shepherd (practice management software) Checking out patients in the exam rooms

Treatment/ Surgical Area Duties:

Patient restraint Blood collection and preparing samples for laboratories Administering medications and treatments Surgical preparation Monitoring anesthesia/recording vitals and recovery Laser therapy treatments Hospital cleanliness
