PHAH IS SEEKING A VETERINARY ASSISTANT!

Will consider high part time (25-29 hours/week) We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed person who values attention to detail and caring for animals to join our team. Previous experience in the veterinary field and low stress animal restraint is highly preferred. This is an entry level position and involves patient restraint, cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments, and ensuring an impeccable level of cleanliness in all areas of the practice. Opportunity for new challenges and growth are available. •Morning, evening, and Saturday hours are required•

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing the treatment room, exam rooms, surgery and dental suites Assuring the treatment room, exam rooms, surgical and dental suites are properly stocked Hourly laundry upkeep Surgical instrument cleaning and surgical pack wrapping Running bloodwork and preparing lab samples Low stress patient handling and restraint Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklist duties

Compensation:

$15.00-16.00/hour •Dependent on previous veterinary experience. Benefits include contributions toward health insurance premiums, veterinary care discounts, paid time off, company retirement contributions and monthly bonuses. •Some benefits only available to full-time employees per company policy.
