Veterinary Assistant at Fort Kent Animal Hospital Interested in a career working with animals? Here's your opportunity! We are actively seeking a full or part time veterinary assistant or technician to expand our staff. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train someone with a good work ethic and eagerness to learn. We're looking for a team player with excellent communication skills that can work well with their fellow employees, enjoys people as well as animals and takes pride in their work. Duties to

Include:

• Assisting with admissions
• Performing diagnostics with our full in-house laboratory and digital radiography
• Coordinating and documenting treatments, surgeries and dental procedures,
• Communicating with pet owners,
• Maintaining and trouble-shooting equipment
• Generally lending a hand wherever your team members need assistance.

Applicants must be able to lift 50lbs and be comfortable on their feet for extended periods of time. Benefits to Full Time Staff are as
