Job Description
We are looking for an experienced veterinary assistant to join our fast growing, 5 doctor practice. We are open M-F 8-6 and Sat 8-1. Schedule has flexibility but we are looking for someone available for these time frames. Full or strong part time hours. Must have excellent customer service, be a team player, and self motivated. The veterinary assistant has a wide range of jobs, including front desk customer service, assisting with appointments, lab work, bloodwork, and radiographs. Our ideal candidate will have experience with these tasks and help us provide the best medicine and customer service we can for our patients. Potential to advance into a surgical assistant position. This position helps prepare and discharge patients from surgical and dental procedures. They work alongside the surgical technician team. Duties include cleaning and preparing surgical instruments. Managing, cleaning and supplying the surgical suite. We are experienced with students going through the Penn Foster program and DCTC. Pay Scale dependent on experience and skills level.
