We value energetic, detail-oriented individuals eager to grow their skills and contribute to our mission of providing outstanding veterinary services. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with animal examinations, treatments, surgeries, and laboratory procedures using proper aseptic techniques. Demonstrated veterinary technician experience or veterinary assistant experience is essential for success in this role. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and critical care procedures is required. Hands-on experience with animal restraint techniques, medication administration, laboratory procedures, and aseptic technique is necessary. Strong animal handling skills including dog handling and understanding of animal behavior are vital for safety and effective care. Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently while adhering to safety protocols involving PPE use. Excellent communication skills for client interaction regarding pet care instructions and treatment updates.
