Job Description

Troutman Animal Hospital is currently hiring for a full-time veterinary assistant or registered veterinary technician position. We are a fast-paced, AAHA-accredited practice that provides high quality medical care for our patients. We are looking for a compassionate, friendly candidate who can help provide excellent care to our patients and clients. Applicants must be punctual, have the ability to work independently, communicate effectively, learn new tasks and procedures quickly, and take direction. Must be available to work ~7:45AM-6:00PM Monday-Friday (4 days per week), one Saturday every 3 weeks ~7:45AM-12:30PM, and weekend kennel rotation (once every 12 weeks). A minimum of 1-year experience as a veterinary assistant is required. Must have experience taking thorough patient history, vital signs, venipuncture, proper patient restraint techniques, and assisting veterinarians as needed in exam rooms. Salary based on experience.
Pay:
$14.00 - $20.00 per hour
