At Hoboken Vets Animal Clinic , we know it takes a village to care for pets and Veterinary Assistants are the glue that holds it all together. We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our crew and bring skill, kindness, and hustle to every exam room, surgery prep, and tail wag. Veterinary Assistant Assisting doctors and technicians in exam rooms and treatment areas. Safely restraining patients during exams and procedures. Supporting laboratory testing, including blood, fecal, and urine samples. Administering medications as directed. Preparing patients for procedures and supporting surgery workflow as needed. Monitoring patients and reporting changes to the medical team. Cleaning and sanitizing exam rooms, kennels, and equipment to maintain a safe, efficient hospital. Communicate clearly, kindly, and confidently with clients and teammates. Enjoy variety in your day and are happy to jump in wherever needed. Value teamwork and take pride in supporting a positive workplace. Compensation The anticipated pay range for this position is $22 - $28 per hour.
