Located just a few miles from the beach, Bridge Veterinary Hospital is an AAHA accredited, privately owned multi-doctor general practice that provides high-quality veterinary care including preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, exotic sick and well care, and compassionate client service. We just finished up an expansion effectively doubling our foot print and are now looking for a hard-working, self-motivated individual to join our amazing technician team! Experience is preferred but is not a must; we are willing to train the right candidate. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their veterinary career while providing top-tier care to animals. Responsibilities As a member of Bridge Veterinary Hospital your responsibilities would include but are not limited to: Assist veterinarians with exams and procedures while providing compassionate animal handling and care Perform laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging Maintain electronic medical records Administer and fill medications as directed by a veterinarian Provide excellent and compassionate customer service Educate pet owners on proper animal care and health maintenance Ensure a clean and safe environment for both animals and staff Collaborate with team members The Ideal Candidate Prior experience working as a veterinary assistant or technician in a clinical setting is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of veterinary terminology, pet care practices, and animal restraint techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace. Working knowledge of computers. A positive, encouraging, and supportive attitude. Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills to interact confidently with clients and other team members while demonstrating professionalism at all times. Schedule Monday - Friday Rotating Saturdays 4 days x 7-11hrs We are open Monday - Friday 8:00am to 7:00pm and Saturdays 8:00am to 3:00pm. We are closed on major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day).
