About This Position We expect that as an experienced veterinary assistant you have basic patient care skills and understand the day-to-day requirements of seeing and treating patients. In addition to those duties, you'll be successful in this position if you: Are client and patient-focused Have maturity and accountability as personal traits Enjoy handling and soothing animals during examinations, treatments and vaccinations Know how to record relevant information about animals, including weight and types of medication given Are ready to be part of something great! (We are open Mon-Thurs 8 am-8 pm, Fridays 8 am-6 pm and Saturdays 8 am-4 pm.) Able to work on your feet and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
