Job Description

Job Overview Are you passionate about veterinary medicine but feel overwhelmed, burned out, or undervalued? Are you an LVT or Veterinary Assistant who wants to be part of a supportive and collaborative team? A place where your skills actually matter? Duties Provide compassionate veterinary care across a variety of species, including companion animals and large animals, ensuring high standards of animal welfare and client satisfaction Assist with surgical procedures such as general anesthesia, veterinary surgery, and dentistry Administer anesthesiology protocols and manage anesthesia during surgeries. Handle animal restraint and catheterization with confidence to ensure safe procedures for animals and staff Communicate effectively with pet owners about diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care plans to foster trust and understanding Maintain detailed medical records adhering to laboratory standards and veterinary medicine protocols Assist Veterinarians and LVT's in building a team atmosphere, while tending to patients needs. (Some duties pertain to licensed team members) Qualifications Proven veterinary experience with a strong foundation in companion animal medicine; Knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and handling techniques including large animal handling Proficiency in veterinary terminology and familiarity with laboratory procedures for diagnostic testing Skills in animal restraint, anesthesia administration (licensed required) Ability to communicate professionally with clients while demonstrating empathy and ethical integrity Demonstrated understanding of animal husbandry practices across various species Commitment to ongoing learning about veterinary ethics, clinical guidelines, and advancements in veterinary medicine We really want to hear from you! Pay:
$40,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
